The Vision for the intercessors ministry begins in the Throne Room of our heavenly Father; this is where all intimacy with God and power to change cultures originates. We live in Him; we move in Him and have our being in Him. When we pray form this place of authority we become empowered by Holy Spirit to bring transformation to people’s lives. We look for recovery, restoration and healing of hearts, minds and bodies. We also “see things in heaven and bring them to earth”, and we “see things on earth and bring them to heaven”.



We intercede for the region, changing the Portland/ Vancouver Metro area into a “City of Refuge”. A safe place to live where people are accepted as they are, but through the power of Holy Spirit, they don’t stay as they are. Instead they become changed more and more every day into the likeness of Jesus.



We demonstrate Papa’s word and works by releasing the Spirit of Faith, believing God for wisdom and understanding.  And helping people to learn to Live Well, by making decisions that will lead to healthy and fruitful lives.  Everything we do is done with compassion and honor. And after doing all we know how to do, stand, believing God is working in their situation in His mighty way.



So CRC’s intercessors not only “Keep a watch on the wall” for our city, but we also bring Life into personal situations turning mourning into dancing and sorrow into Joy!
